Putter’s Pickles is a Montreal-based company with over seven decades of expertise specializing in pickle fermentation. A true pillar in the food sector and well-known among restaurateurs in the region, Putter’s Pickles maintains its family values and eco-friendly approach while emphasizing the use of local ingredients. Although its customer base was primarily composed of businesses, Putter’s is gradually establishing itself with retailers to capture a larger market share.

Solution
The new owners of Putter’s, driven by ambitious expansion plans, sought to reimagine the company’s brand image to give it a new lease of life. Indeed, this image had become outdated for its two customer segments. At the time, Putter’s products were primarily sold to a business clientele. Since Putter’s now aimed to aggressively target the retail market to gain market share among consumers, it was imperative to modernize the website and refresh its graphic universe.
The creative team completely transformed the graphic identity of Putter’s Pickles. The playful and refreshing design features deep greens and generous curves reminiscent of pickle shapes. The iconic illustration of the Super Pickle was entirely revamped, giving way to a charming and candid character. The new website is easy to navigate and intuitive. Minimalist in style, it is enhanced with fun animations and vibrant contrasts. It tells the story of the company and emphasizes the core values that continue to guide Putter’s. A launch strategy was implemented on social media as well as at the food trade show. Designers also contributed to the brand’s visibility through various graphic print projects.
