New packaging and a new logo for Geneviève Gagnon's avant-garde company.
La Fourmi Bionique is known for its original, healthy and gourmet cereal products, as well as for its founder, Geneviève Gagnon. La Fourmi Bionique also promotes local Quebec producers of natural, organic and fair-trade ingredients.
Since its creation in 2002, Fourmi Bionique’s packaging has not evolved. Geneviève Gagnon, the founder of La Fourmi Bionique, called upon Minimal to redesign the packaging for her entire current product line and later for her new creations, the Muskä and Grand Granola collections.
Minimal’s creative team drew inspiration from the unusual history of its founder, Geneviève Gagnon, as well as from the company’s cutting-edge processes to develop a warm and appetizing design that displays the product to through the packaging. New images were produced and, at the last minute, the logo was redesigned to tie it all together with a look that stands out and makes the brand a leader in its category.
The following year, the Grand Granola collection won the grand prize at the GAÏA Gala for the best packaging in Quebec.
